SNA's 2017 School Nutrition Industry Conference (SNIC)

  • The action starts a day early—on Saturday, January 21—with exciting bonus sessions, including a USDA Foods taste test at a local high school, ethics training, innovating with Breakfast in the Classroom and a special session for industry.
  • Move on to the next three days with expert General Session speakers, including: Kai Kight, innovator and violinist; Dr. Jim Painter, a renowned food researcher and expert; Sharon Schaefer, chef turned “proud lunch lady” who will offer a dive deep into flavor trends; and Cindy Long, USDA FNS Deputy Administrator for Child Nutrition, who will discuss the top 10 innovations at the Department of Agriculture.

Top all of that off with several education sessions on topics such as procurement and innovative ways to increase participation and you will be sure to leave this conference armed with new tools, tips and tricks for fostering innovation in your own programs.
