SNA 2017 Election: Call for Nominations

Have you or a colleague considered taking the next step in your commitment to school nutrition programs? SNA is seeking qualified candidates with leadership talent to serve on the SNA Board of Directors and the SNA Leadership Development Committee. These leaders play an important role in guiding the future of the Association.

The Leadership Development Committee announces the following open positions for the 2017 election:

SNA Leadership Opportunities

  • Mideast Regional Director
  • Midwest Regional Director
  • Southwest Regional Director
  • At-Large Director

Leadership Development Committee

  • Northwest Region Representative
  • Northeast Region Representative
  • Southwest Region Representative

Industry Advisory Council

  • Industry Advisory Council Chair

If you or a colleague is up for the exciting challenges and rewards of volunteer service at the national level, be sure to submit your nomination by Friday, September 30, 2016. The Leadership Development Committee, chaired by SNA Past President Julia Bauscher, SNS, will meet at Committee Days in October to select the candidate slate for the 2017 election. The selected candidates will be announced following Committee Days. The election is in February 2017.
