Register for SNA's Upcoming Webinar Wednesdays

This Wednesday, October 19, join school nutrition directors Cleta Long, Bibb County (Ga.) School District, and Susan Roberson, Richmond (Va.) Public Schools, as they pair up with Mieka Sanderson from the Food Research & Action Center to present “Tempting Teens to Eat School Breakfast.” Register for this webinar and prepare to receive a thorough explanation of the 4 Ps of marketing to optimize your breakfast program and attract middle & high school students to your School Breakfast Program and increase choices to grow autonomy.

Then, next week—Wednesday, October 26—join us for “Celebrating National Farm to School Month with USDA,” a special webinar to observe October’s National Farm to School Month. In this e-learning event you will learn about the resources available from USDA’s Office of Community Food Systems and pick up farm-to-school strategies that can boost participation, reduce food waste and increase consumption of fruits and vegetables. This webinar will showcase Doug Davis from Burlington (Vt.) School Food Project and Alex Emmott from Oakland (Calif.) Unified School District. The webinar will also highlight small ways you can jump in and get involved.

Participation in these webinars is worth 1 SNA CEU. Also, visit www.schoolnutrition.org/On-Demand for the archive of our latest on-demand webinars. SNA login is required to access all archived webinars.
