Looking for grants for your school or district? Take note of the following grant opportunities and start your application soon:

Whole Kids Foundation: School Garden Grant Program
Application Deadline: October 31
The Whole Kids Foundation, in partnership with FoodCorps, is accepting applications for its School Garden Grant Program. The annual program supports school garden projects designed to help students learn about complex topics such as nutrition and health, sustainability and conservation, food systems, and community awareness. Garden projects may be at any stage of development (planning, construction, or operation). Grants will provide $2,000 for projects lasting a year.

Walmart Foundation: Community Grant Program
Application Deadline: December 31
The Walmart Foundation is accepting applications through its Community Grant Program. Through the program, grants of up to $2,500 will be awarded to local nonprofit organizations within the service area of individual Walmart stores in support of initiatives in the areas of hunger relief and healthy eating, sustainability, women's economic empowerment, and/or career opportunities. A K-12 public or private school, charter school, community/junior college, state/private college, or university is eligible.
