Team Up for STEPS Success!

2015-08-14

SNA’s STEPS Challenge – now beginning its fourth year, and still made available with support from Jennie-O Turkey Store – is a personal wellness program with more than 6,000 fans who have signed up since its inception. STEPS Monthly challenges return on September 1 with more fun wellness activities and opportunities to win prizes, too.

There are so many great things about STEPS! For one, it’s absolutely free, and it’s easy to get started. Once you register, you can access numerous health resources, including recipes, fitness ideas, mental wellness tips and more. Participate in monthly challenges and you have the opportunity to win prizes. (And who doesn’t like prizes!?)

Breaking bad habits and starting new ones is always easier when you do it with a buddy, and a new school year may be the perfect opportunity to take a team approach to STEPS, partnering with coworkers, your SNA chapter, friends or family members. By taking a team approach, you gain more motivation by working toward a common goal! And like the great creativity you apply to your school nutrition operation, you are sure to have equally wonderful ideas to motivate yourself and your team members to make small changes that can make a world of difference in your overall health!

It promises to be another exciting year for STEPS, with all new monthly challenges, tips, conference events and more cool prizes. Make this school year your healthiest yet! Visit www.schoolnutrition.org/steps to learn more or to get started.
