School Nutrition Professionals Kick Start 2015 at SNA’s School Nutrition Industry Conference

2015-01-12

Over 500 school nutrition professionals and industry partners came together yesterday with a collective purpose – to kick start the New Year by attending SNA’s 2015 School Nutrition Industry Conference (SNIC) in sunny Phoenix. This unique conference, from January 11-13, provides attendees an opportunity to come together to build successful partnerships to better serve the nation’s school children.

The theme, “Change is inevitable...Growth is optional” focuses on the impact or organizational change and how it affects the business of school nutrition. Highlights of this year’s SNIC include four general sessions featuring captivating presenters that provide details of their own varied experience in foodservice and business with unique approaches regarding organizational change, an informative USDA update, targeted education sessions for operators and industry and thought exchange sessions that introduce ground-breaking products and services for the K-12 foodservice segment.

Last night, many SNIC attendees enjoyed a festive evening honoring outstanding leaders in the school nutrition profession for achievement, innovation and service by attending the 26th annual Foodservice Achievement Management Excellence (FAME) Awards Reception and Dinner.
