Ruby’s on the Move: Submit Your Ruby Reader Photos by January 29

2016-01-14

School Nutrition magazine’s beloved mascot, Ruby Reader, has been spotted all over the United States since the “Where’s Ruby Roaming?” contest began in November 2015. From helping plan school meal menus to cooking up her own special nutritious creations, she’s been having fun with SNA members across the country.

If Ruby hasn’t been spotted in your school yet, there is still time to participate and be eligible for the special prize drawing. All entries must be received by School Nutrition no later than Friday, January 29. Here’s how to enter:

  1. Cut out the full-page Ruby in School Nutrition’sNovember 2015 issue. Tape her to a piece of cardboard or run her through a laminating machine, so that she does not tear with handling.
  2. Take pictures that include Ruby!
  3. Send us your pictures via email or “snail mail.” No official entry form is required, but to be eligible for the prize drawing, at least one photo must be submitted with the following information included/attached: Name, school/district, preferred mailing address, email address, phone number, brief photo description and a few sentences about what you like most or find most helpful about reading School Nutrition.

Email your photos and entry details to snmagazine@schoolnutrition.org or mail your photo (printed on photographic paper only) along with entry details to: Where’s Ruby Roaming? School Nutrition, 120 Waterfront Street, Suite 300, National Harbor, MD 20745. Don’t let the fun pass you by!
