Orientation to School Nutrition Management – FREE TRAINING from NFSMI

The National Food Service Management Institute (NFSMI) will be offering a free, five-day training on January 12-16, 2015, in Oxford, Miss. This training will provide an overview of the management components of school nutrition programs, including program accountability, operations and financial management, and food safety basics.

The target audience includes school nutrition directors with fewer than 5 years’ experience or those who aspire to be a director, as well as state agency staff, specialists, and trainers.

This course can be used towards Level 3 of SNA’s Certificate Program and for three hours of college credit through the University of Mississippi School of Applied Sciences.
