Make Time for Summer Fun at ANC 2015

Salt Lake City is located in the heart of the American West and is the beautiful backdrop for ANC 2015. Utah’s capital city rests in a valley and is surrounded by the majestic Wasatch Mountains that soar to a dramatic 11,000 feet. Whether you’re traveling from near or far, SNA’s Annual National Conference (ANC), July 12-15, 2015, is the perfect excuse to make time for summer fun—you can even bring the family along!

Historic and cultural attractions await you in Salt Lake City. Here are some top destinations to check out this summer when you attend ANC.

  • Temple Square. This beautiful downtown area features the Salt Lake Temple, Salt Lake Tabernacle and Salt Lake Assembly Hall. Visitors also will find amazing restaurants and exquisite gardens. Two visitors centers will direct to you free tours by friendly guides who will take you through interesting historical sites.
  • Historic Salt Lake Tabernacle. Located in Temple Square, this is the home of the world famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir and serves as an important downtown focal point. Come to view the beautiful dome-shaped auditorium and listen to the awe-inspiring pipe organ, made up of 11,623 pipes and producing an amazing symphony of sound.

  • Red Butte Garden & Arboretum. In the city’s nearby foothills (15 minutes from the Salt Palace Convention Center), Red Butte Garden features more than 100 acres of botanical gardens and miles of hiking trails through lush native vegetation. Hosting a slew of summer music concerts, as well as floral and sculpture art exhibits, this is a beautiful place to stop and take in some fresh air during ANC.
