Get More Zzzs with SNA’s STEPS Challenge


With only two more months left in SNA’s 2015-16 STEPS Challenge, you’ll want as much energy as possible for a strong finish! And more energy comes with a good night’s sleep. Did you know that the National Sleep Foundation recommends 7-9 hours of sleep for adults per night? How many do you average?

The April STEPS Challenge urges you to strive for more sleep. Between jobs, stress, caffeine, family schedules and obligations, squeezing in enough time for sleep can be hard…but it’s so important! Sleep affects how well you think, react, work, learn and get along with others. By getting enough quality sleep, you can help protect your physical and mental health, quality of life and safety.

In April, give yourself two points for each morning you wake up after getting at least 6 hours of sleep. Keep track of your zzzs (using the handy STEPS tracking sheet available online), and when you earn 50 points, you can submit your points online to be entered in the prize drawing.
