Don’t Miss ANC’s 2016 Headliners

2016-04-11

With conference headliners like these, you don’t want to miss SNA’s Annual National Conference (ANC) in San Antonio, July 10-13. Designed to inspire you both personally and professionally, you’ll enjoy three dynamic General Sessions presented by top-rated celebrities, who are inspirational keynote speakers.

On Sunday, July 10, join your peers for a one-of-a-kind motivational opportunity, as we anticipate the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with our very own “Olympic Panel,” featuring two renowned Olympic athletes: gymnastic champion Shannon Miller and track and field superstar Jackie Joyner-Kersee. These distinguished Olympians have been fervent advocates for children and women, and they will share their reflections on health, wellness and physical activity. Plus, just announced, this exciting panel will be moderated by former competition swimmer and three-time Olympic gold medalist Rowdy Gaines, who will share his unique perspective on the power of perseverance.

Carla Hall Next, on Tuesday, July 12, meet chef and television personality, Carla Hall. Co-host of ABC’s popular lifestyle series “The Chew,” she is also known as a competitor on Bravo’s “Top Chef.” With her infectious personality and wit on display, Hall will discuss her philosophy to always cook with love.

Emmy award-winning co-anchor of ABC newsmagazine, “Primetime,” and anchor of its series “What Would You Do?” John Quiñones will present the closing General Session on Wednesday, July 13. A fifth-generation San Antonian, Quiñones will challenge you to think about your reaction if you witness injustices—like racism or bullying—and he’ll leave you feeling strengthened and inspired to do the right thing!

ANC’s General Sessions are the key times when all conference attendees have an opportunity to gather together, unite and learn from highly recognized communicators and thought leaders—and they are among the many highlights of ANC 2016.
