Calling All Speakers: Last Chance to Submit a Proposal


The October 2nd deadline is quickly approaching! This is your last chance to share your experience and expertise on the challenges and changes that affect school nutrition communities and determine their success? We are looking for dynamic speakers with tips, techniques and knowledge to share to submit a proposal for presentation consideration at SNA’s 2016 Annual National Conference (ANC), July 10-13, 2016, in San Antonio.

SNA is seeking proposals in the 4 key learning areas of USDA Professional Standards. Presentation options include 60-minute education sessions or 60-minute interactive roundtable sessions. Alternatively, you also have the option to submit a proposal for a 4- or 8-hour pre-conference session taking place on Saturday, July 9, 2016.

SNA is seeking to develop an overall program that will result in a diverse array of presenters and perspectives including different professional levels and levels of experience. SNA is committed to aiding school nutrition professionals by providing, practical solutions to school nutrition challenges, opportunities to improve current knowledge and develop new skills.

ANC 2016 will focus on the following key areas:

  • Nutrition
  • Operations
  • Administration
  • Communications and Marketing

SNA is considering offering a few sessions in Spanish for employees and managers. If you are able to present a session in Spanish, please indicate this in your proposal.

The Call for Proposals deadline for submission is Friday, October 2, 2015 - 12:00 midnight Eastern Time.
