SNA’s Annual National Conference (ANC), July 10–13 in San Antonio, Texas, will be jam-packed with educational offerings, special events and networking opportunities to collaborate with school nutrition professionals from across the nation.   • Become a Confident Presentation Pro! -- From mastering visual presentation materials to perfecting your public persona in front of a group, this session will offer the most effective ways to get your message across in the most compelling manner, to any audience.
  • Supervisory Skill Development for Managers -- This highly interactive workshop is back by popular demand and focuses on discovering the inner leader in YOU! From understanding your communication style and the traits of others, you will identify workload organization and practice task delegation.
  • State Agency Pre-Con: Procurement Tools and Foodservice Contracts -- The procurement of goods and services is a significant responsibility of school food authorities (SFAs) that has a major impact on the financial stability of the SFA’s nonprofit school foodservice account. This pre-conference session, exclusively for state agency directors and their staff, will delve into the many challenges and obstacles associated with the procurement process.
  • Industry Pre-Con: Let’s Talk: “RealTime” with Industry and USDA Child Nutrition Programs (CNP) -- Industry representatives: Take advantage of this unique opportunity to meet with USDA officials to gain an in-depth understanding of the CNP nutrition meal requirements and other USDA initiatives that will help build stronger communication.
