SNA's 2017 Annual National Conference (ANC)

If you are passionate about school meals and ready to be engaged about school nutrition, then SNA has some great news for you. Registration is now open for the Association’s 71st Annual National Conference (ANC), July 9-12, 2017, in Atlanta, Ga. Join hundreds of members like yourself, for four fabulous days of hot topics, informative education sessions, new culinary delights, countless exhibits and more, that will have you ready to be invigorated and succeed.

At ANC, you’ll enjoy two General Sessions, which are the perfect opportunity to get re-energized and excited about your profession amidst the busy conference agenda. At the Opening General Session, you’ll hear about the adventures of highly decorated NASA astronauts and retired U.S. Navy captains Mark and Scott Kelly at the Opening General Session. The Closing General Session will feature nationally respected thought leader Alex Sheen, the founder of because I said I would – a nonprofit dedicated to the betterment of humanity through promises made and kept.

Did You Know?

The ANC First-Timer Scholarship, made possible this year by a donation from AccuTemp Products, provides multiple $500 scholarships to individuals who have never before attended ANC to help cover registration and travel expenses. District directors, who are active SNA members and are registered to attend ANC 2017, may nominate one member of their staff for this scholarship. The staff member must be an active SNA member in the employee or manager category who has never attended SNA’s ANC. Nominations are being accepted now!

With more educational offerings than ever ( 120+ education sessions!), you’ll find the most popular expert speakers, new instructional formats to make learning both informative and fun, as well as special pop-up sessions on the hottest school nutrition topics. Plus, the largest school foodservice Exhibit Hall awaits you with over 850 exhibit booths to check out the best products and solutions to meet the needs of children who rely on nutritious school meals.

Additionally, ANC’s numerous special events will allow you to make cool connections among colleagues and industry members. And you’ll want to be front and center for the Closing Event Concert which features one of the most amazing—and FUN—bands on the rock circuit, Barenaked Ladies!

Whether you’re a seasoned school nutrition professional, industry member, or new to the K-12 foodservice community, you’ll find one-of-a-kind opportunities at ANC that will broaden your knowledge and provide practical information you can use immediately. It’s these opportunities and much more that makes ANC the “Hottest School Nutrition Event of the Year!” Visit www.schoolnutrition.org/anc to register* and save when you take advantage of the early-bird rate today.

*Reminder: Conference Registration is now required before you will be allowed to reserve a room within SNA’s discounted hotel room block. Whether registering online or by email/mail/fax, after you’ve submitted your payment and received your order confirmation, you will be given access to the Housing Reservation system, with a unique housing registration link tied to your individual registration. This change in procedure is designed to ensure that a greater number of attendees have the opportunity to book their first-choice hotels on their preferred dates and still receive SNA’s discounted rates.
