General Information

Registration and Badge Pick-Up
SNA will have TWO satellite registration desks this year, in addition to the main registration desk located just inside the Washington Street Entrance to the America’s Center Convention Complex on Level 1. One of the satellite registration desks will be located in the lobby of the Hilton at the Ballpark; the other will be located in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency Hotel. These registration desks are intended for those who just need to pick up their badge and materials. Any more complicated requests, changes to registration, or the ability to register onsite will need to be done at the Main Registration at the America’s Center. The satellite registration desks will be open during the same hours as the Registration desk at the America’s Center, Friday through Sunday only. They will not be open on Monday or Tuesday.

Badge and Ticket(s) Policy
For security purposes, each person must present identification in order to receive a registration packet and will not be allowed to pick-up another attendee’s registration packet. In addition, please note badges must be worn during the conference hours for admittance to the pre-conference events, exhibit hall, sessions, riding on the dedicated SNA shuttle busses, and/or social events. Anyone without an ANC 2019 badge will be asked to register for the conference. To reprint a lost badge, there will be a fee of $5.00. Tickets to ANC events will NOT be reprinted, no exceptions. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Cancellations & Schedule Changes
Circumstances beyond SNA’s control—weather, transportation difficulties or last-minute cancellations by program participants (speakers, presenters)—may necessitate changes in the scheduling or presentation of events and/or programs or even cancellation of a particular scheduled event or speaker. SNA cannot be responsible in any way to any conference attendee for any disappointment, inconvenience or “loss” caused by such an eventuality. Check the ANC Mobile App for last minute updates!

Conference Photos
Attendance at ANC constitutes an agreement by the registrant for SNA to take and use photos, video and audio tapes in public spaces during the conference and related events. SNA may make photographs, videos or recordings of ANC events, which may include the likeness or participation of attendees, and reproduce them in future educational, news or promotional materials, in print, electronic or other media, including the SNA website and its social media channels. Attendance at ANC constitutes a waiver and release any claims against SNA and its employees, members, and representatives, as well as granting SNA permission to make, use, and distribute such items, without payment or compensation.

Hospitality Team
Members of the Missouri School Nutrition Association are serving as your hosts. You can easily identify them by their red T-shirts. Please feel free to use them as a resource, as they are available to help you feel more at home.

Smoking
The America’s Center Convention Complex is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is not permitted at any time.

Accessibility & Special Needs
SNA is committed to enabling access to all meeting activities, including dietary restrictions, to the extent reasonably possible and as required by law. To discuss or notify SNA about your access needs, please email meetings@schoolnutrition.org no later than June 1, 2019.

Emergencies
The 24-hour security hotline number from any in-house telephone is Extension 5081. Each house phone has a sticker on it with this number. If calling from an outside line, dial (314) 342-5081. Please call this number only during an emergency and our staff will alert the necessary emergency personnel. For minor incidents or first aid, the First Aid Rooms are located in the Plaza Lobby and near the Washington Entrance. Additionally, America’s Center staff in all departments throughout the facility have 2-way radios which are the fastest way to alert our staff to any situation. To identify your location within the Convention Center halls just look up to the ceiling where the speaker boxes have identifying numbers on them which will help us get to your location quickly.

Product Sales
Sales of any products outside the SNA Emporium’s “POP UP Shop” are strictly prohibited by the contract with the Convention Center. The Convention Center personnel will rigorously enforce this regulation. Anyone apprehended will have his/her products seized and may be asked to leave the conference..

Disclaimer of Endorsement
References in the ANC Program Guide or during the conference to any products, services or expressed ideas do not constitute or imply their endorsement by SNA.

Anti-Harassment Policy
SNA is committed to creating and maintaining a harassment-free environment for all participants in the Association’s activities, including ANC. All attendees, employees, contractors, vendors and guests are expected to engage in mutually respectful behavior and to preserve SNA’s standards of professionalism at all times.

SNA Non-Endorsement Policy
SNA does not permit its name, logo or written materials to be copied, republished, excerpted, hypertext-linked to a website or otherwise used for any commercial purpose, including advertising, or to suggest any endorsement, affiliation or sponsorship of any third-party product or service, without the prior written permission of SNA. Accordingly, no entity or individual may, in any written, verbal or electronic communication, including but not limited to press releases, promotional materials, advertisements, articles, videotapes, emails, telephone calls or face-to-face discussions, state or imply in any way that SNA has endorsed, recommended, approved, sponsored or taken any other position regarding any product or service without SNA’s prior written consent.

Antitrust Policy Statement
It is the policy of SNA and the responsibility of every Association member and participating industry organization to comply in all respects with federal and state antitrust laws. No activity or discussion at any Association meeting or other function may be engaged in for the purpose of bringing about any understanding or agreement among members that may violate or appear to violate the antitrust laws, including but not limited to raise, lower or stabilize prices; to regulate production; to allocate markets; to encourage boycotts; to foster unfair trade practices; to assist monopolization; or to in any way violate federal or state antitrust laws. Any questions regarding the meaning or applicability of this policy, as well as any concerns regarding activities or discussions at SNA meetings, should be promptly brought to the attention of SNA’s Executive Office.
