Opening General Session: Monday, July 9

Kristin-ChenowethKristin Chenoweth
Singer and Actress

SNA is pleased to announce award-winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth as this year’s keynote speaker for Monday’s Opening General Session. A pint-sized dynamo, Chenoweth has been praised for her “sparkling soprano, massive stage presence and killer comic timing.”

For many, Chenoweth is best known for originating the role of Glinda the Good Witch in the Broadway smash hit musical “Wicked.” Others will remember the indelible TV characters she created on “Glee,” “The West Wing,” “American Gods,” “Hairspray Live!” and Disney’s “Descendants.” Several of these roles earned her Emmy and People’s Choice Award recognition.

Her film credits include voice work as Gabi in “Rio 2” and Fifi, Snoopy’s beloved French poodle in “The Peanuts Movie.” As a singer, Chenoweth has released a half-dozen albums and performed to sold-out audiences around the globe, including a recent tour with Andrea Bocelli.

At ANC, in a conversation with SNA President Lynn Harvey, this native Oklahoman will share funny, heart-warming tales from her eclectic career; her foundations of family and faith; and her championing of programs to end poverty and support youth. Best of all: Chenoweth will treat ANC attendees to her exceptional voice with a song—or even two.

You’ll laugh. You may cry. You’ll definitely leave smiling.

Closing General Session: Thursday, July 12
