Getting to Your Hotel
There are several options from and to the Atlanta International Airport: taxis, ubers, subway service (MARTA), onsite shuttle companies and limos, rental cars and ADA/Medical transportation.

  • Taxis are located outside the baggage claim area, in the Yellow Bus aisle. There is a flat rate to and from the airport to where SNA hotels are located, which is $30.
  • Subway train (MARTA) – The MARTA airport station is in the middle of the airport’s North and South baggage claims. One way fares are $2.50. Take the red or gold line from the airport to the Peachtree Center MARTA station; if staying at the Omni or going directly to the convention center, switch to the blue or green line at Five Points station and take to the GWCC/CNN Center MARTA station.
  • Ubers can be requested from the airport and will pick passengers up at the lower level. Rates range from $6-$50, depending on the vehicle/service.

Hotel Information & Shuttles
Shuttle Buses will be available to transport attendees to the Georgia World Congress Center starting on Saturday, July 8. The shuttle schedule and additional information can be found in the ANC Program Guide, as well as on the SNA website, www.schoolnutrition.org/anc. Please refer to the sign in your hotel lobby for changes and additional information. If you have questions regarding the shuttle or to request a wheelchair accessible shuttle reservation, please call Kushner & Associates at (310) 210-2139 during shuttle hours. Please note: There will be shuttle service provided from all SNA hotels except the Omni. All hotels are walkable, but the Omni is adjacent to the Georgia World Congress Center.

Tax Exemption: Hotels do not honor tax exemptions.

Credit Card Authorization: School districts paying hotel expenses by credit card must contact the hotel for credit card authorization form and fax completed form to hotel two weeks prior to arrival.

Registration & Badge Pick-Up
NEW this year: SNA will have a satellite registration desk set up in the lobby of the Marriott Marquis. This registration desk is intended for those who just need to pick up their badge and materials. Any more complicated requests, changes to registration, or the ability to register onsite will need to be done at the registration area at the Georgia World Congress Center. This satellite registration desk is provided so that those who just need to pick up their materials do not need to make their way over the convention center before it is necessary to do so. The satellite registration desk will be open during the same times as the registration at the GWCC Friday through Monday. It will not be open on Tuesday or Wednesday.

ANC on the Go Mobile App
SNA’s ANC 2017 mobile app is the best way to stay connected while onsite in Atlanta. The mobile app is also the ideal way to plan your time while at ANC. Features of the app include: building your own agenda, evaluating education sessions, floorplans of the convention center and Exhibit Hall, ability to message attendees and join discussion groups, and receive up-to-date schedule changes and program alerts. The app can be downloaded in Apple iTunes or Google Play – search for “ANC on the Go.” There is also desktop access found at anc2017.pathable.com.

New This Year: Pop-Up Sessions!
Featuring the hottest education sessions you want more of! Pop-up sessions will do just that—“pop-up” on the schedule throughout the conference. They will be chosen based on popularity—such as repeating very popular sessions or speakers. Be sure to check the “ANC on the Go” app for the pop-up sessions.

Things to Do in Atlanta
When not in sessions or exploring the Exhibit Hall, there are tons of fun things to do in Atlanta. Do not forget about the Night Out at Ponce City Market on Tuesday evening. SNA will be providing complimentary shuttles to and from Ponce City Market starting at 5:30 pm, departing from the Marriott Marquis; the last shuttle will depart from PCM at 9:30 pm. Shuttle tickets are required to ride the bus and are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please visit the shuttle desk at the GWCC during shuttle hours to receive a ticket with an assigned shuttle departure time.
