Permission

All editorial content published in School Nutrition (formerly School Foodservice & Nutrition) and The Journal of Child Nutrition & Management are copyrighted and cannot be reprinted without permission from SNA. Editorial material also cannot be scanned or copied in any format and posted to a website without permission from SNA.

If you would like permission to reprint or post a specific article from School Nutrition or The Journal of Child Nutrition & Management, you must submit your request in writing to the editorial office. Requests can be e-mailed to: snmagazine@schoolnutrition.org; faxed to: (301) 686-3115; or sent via postal mail to: School Nutrition Association, Editorial Office, 120 Waterfront Street, Suite 300, Oxon Hill, MD 20745.

Requests for reprint/posting permission should include:

  • the intended use of the reprints (or description of the proposed web pages and their audience)
  • the name of the organization making the request
  • your name and contact information (e-mail, fax, phone, snail mail).

Please note that certain usage requests may require payment of a fee and permission will not be granted until that fee is paid.

If and when permission is granted, you must place the credit line as instructed on your notification in a prominent place on either your printed copies or web page. SNA does not grant blanket permission to reprint the contents of either publication.

To purchase color reprints of 1,000 or more copies, contact snmagazine@schoolnutrition.org for pricing. Requests should include the quantity, issue date, name of article(s) and the pages it appears, as well as the requirements for reprint permission (above).
