CEU Activities

** Important Note: In order to receive CEUs for any Fuel Up to Play 60 activity, you MUST download and have on file the SNA Fuel Up to Play 60 CEU Certificate as well as the documentation outlined for each activity below.   Complete a short survey to download Fuel Up to Play 60 CEU Certificate

1. Team Kick-Off Meeting (1 CEU)
• Earn 1 CEU for coordinating a one hour meeting. Kick-off meetings should typically include the site team made up of faculty, staff, and students.
• Documentation:   Download Fuel Up to Play 60 CEU Certificate, agenda (including date, location, and timeline), and participant list.
2. School-wide Kick-Off (1 CEU)
• Earn 1 CEU with a school-wide kick-off event to promote Fuel Up to Play 60 to the entire student body. Program Advisors should work with students to plan and implement the event.
• Documentation: Download Fuel Up to Play 60 CEU Certificate ,  photos demonstrating use of the Fuel Up to Play 60 banners and signs, information on the specific activities and schedule of events, and outcomes.
3. Fuel Up to Play Program Advisor (1 CEU)
• Earn 1 CEU by serving as a Program Advisor for one year. Program Advisors help students select and implement Healthy Eating and Physical Activity action strategies and work with them to engage other stakeholders to bring about change.
• Documentation:  Download Fuel Up to Play 60 CEU Certificate and a letter on school district letterhead from your supervisor at the end of the year documenting the role.
4. Taste Test (1 CEU)
• Earn 1 CEU for organizing and holding a student taste test or food show as included in the Healthy Eating Strategies of Fuel Up to Play 60. The event should be 1 hour or multiple taste tests can be conducted on several different days that total 1 hour (for example, a 15-minute taste test on four consecutive Fridays).
• Documentation: Download Fuel Up to Play 60 CEU Certificate , student evaluations, and a summary of results using sample forms provided in the Fuel Up to Play 60 kit.
5. Fuel Up to Play 60 School Wellness Investigation (1 CEU)
• Earn 1 CEU by using the Fuel Up to Play 60 School Wellness Investigation, an online tool to collect information about the current nutrition and physical activity environment in the school—and identify opportunities to make it even better. The tool asks questions that are aligned with best practices in school wellness. Completing the School Wellness Investigation can help users:
  • Gauge how the school is accomplishing its district wellness goals related to nutrition and physical activity.
  • Define goals that will really suit the school’s needs
  • Find out what priorities are most compelling to students.
  • Document starting points in order to show progress over time.
• Documentation:  Download Fuel Up to Play 60 CEU Certificate , printable results from the School Wellness Investigation included in your Fuel Up to Play 60 kit.
6. School Wellness Investigation Re-Assessment (1 CEU)
• Earn 1 CEU by completing of a re-assessment using the School Wellness Investigation tool after your Fuel Up to Play 60 implementation has begun.
•  Documentation: Download Fuel Up to Play 60 CEU Certificate  and printable results from the School Wellness Investigation included in your Fuel Up to Play 60 kit.
7. Track Participation and Milk Sales (1 CEU)
• Earn 1 CEU by collecting pre- and post- ADP and milk sales when you implement Fuel Up to Play 60.
