The School Nutrition Foundation (SNF), in partnership with the United States Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service’s Office of Food Safety, will be offering a FREE Peer2Peer call on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, from 2:00-3:00 pm EST entitled: "Peer2Peer Connect Q & A Session on “Managing Food Safety When Handling Fresh Produce in Schools."
This 60-minute Q & A discussion will allow SNA members and non-members to connect and share ideas, resources, comments and questions around maintaining nutrition and quality while keeping the principles of food safety high on their agenda when dealing with fresh produce. School nutrition professionals will help your organization better understand the agenda discussed during the Wednesday April 18, 2012, webinar on “Managing Food Safety When Handling Fresh Produce in Schools."
