Keys to Excellence
Keys to Excellence is a district development tool, which allows Directors to assess their programs using validated standards, determine strengths and weaknesses, and develop an action plan for program improvement.
District of the Year
The District of the Year Award formally recognizes one outstanding school nutrition program that meets the Keys to Excellence best practice standards and demonstrates extraordinary commitment to maintaining and exceeding the best practice standards. In addition to receiving the recognition and benefits of being a District of Excellence, SNA further recognizes the District of the Year Award recipient at SNA’s Annual National Conference and through SNA national media and public relations activities.
Grants
The makers of Hidden Valley® Salad Dressings have awarded ten $15,000 grants to public elementary schools in the United States to support programs that help provide students with increased access to, and consumption of fresh, healthy foods made available through an on-campus vegetable consumption program.
