Julia Bauscher, SNS, Named 2013 Silver Plate Winner

February 28, 2013 – The International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA) honored Julia Bauscher, SNS, as a 2013 Silver Plate Award winner in the elementary and secondary schools category. The prestigious Silver Plate Award recognizes achievements in foodservice management, marketing, human resources and industry and civic participation.

Bauscher is director of school and community nutrition services for Jefferson County (Ky.) Public Schools. She also was recently named the 2012 winner of the FAME Golden School Foodservice Director of the Year Award.

Bauscher is SNA’s vice president. She also has served SNA on the national level as Child Nutrition Industry Conference co-chair (2012) and Nutrition Committee chair (2008-10). In addition, she has served as president of the Kentucky School Nutrition Association.
