SNA Announces CN Marketplace Update
ALEXANDRIA, Va., November 17, 2006 -- The School Nutrition Association (SNA) is updating CN Marketplace. The more than 55,000 members of SNA will have access to this valuable new business tool available from a link on the SNA homepage (www.schoolnutrition.org). The updated CN Marketplace features a broad array of school nutrition-related listings about products and services that will aid SNA’s members in their purchasing decisions.
“With the new CN Marketplace, members can search for companies that can help them with products and services and maximize the performance of their school nutrition programs,” said SNA Executive Director Barbara S. Belmont, CAE. “I’m certain CN Marketplace will be a valuable resource to SNA members.”
Within CN Marketplace, two different methods of searching for products and services are available; a keyword-driven, search-engine search or a category search by business type.
CN Marketplace is a powerful search engine that continually indexes the websites of all companies represented in the list. Therefore, searchers can easily locate products and services unique to the school nutrition industry without the clutter of a general Internet search.
SNA partnered with MultiView, Inc, an Irving, Texas-based publisher of electronic buyers guides and search engines, to develop CN Marketplace. “CN Marketplace is going to be the premier reference for school nutrition products and services,” said Dan Maitland, MultiView President. “It allows users to cut through the clutter of multiple search engines and easily find just the right supplier.”
The School Nutrition Association is a national, non-profit professional organization representing more than 55,000 members who provide high-quality, low-cost meals to students across the country. The Association and its members are dedicated to feeding children safe and nutritious meals. Founded in 1946, SNA is the only association devoted exclusively to protecting and enhancing children’s health and well being through school meals and sound nutrition education.
MultiView, Inc. is a privately held corporation based in Irving, Texas. MultiView publishes a growing series of industry-specific, online directories. MultiView directories are state-of-the-art; satisfying the need for keyword searching through the use of powerful search engine technology, as well as presenting suppliers in a traditional category/heading format.
