2013-09-23

October 16, 2013, 2:00-3:15 pm EST (1:00 pm Central, 12:00 pm Mountain, 11:00 am Pacific)

September 23, 2013 – The School Nutrition Foundation (SNF), in partnership with the Walmart Foundation will host a FREE webinar about the assessment process for breakfast in the classroom (BIC) programs and how it provides the framework for the development of the district BIC action plan.

Can you identify, from the list below, what factors are important to consider during a site assessment?

  • Enrollment
  • School size
  • Layout
  • Equipment needs
  • Staffing
  • Individual site stakeholder engagement
  • All of the above

If you answered “All of the above” you are correct. Every school is unique, with a different set of needs based on factors listed above.

Join this webinar to learn about making the most of the assessment process, best practices, and lessons learned from foodservice directors and operators who have successfully integrated BIC into their school nutrition programs. Whether you are considering breakfast in the classroom or you are in the process of implementing BIC, this webinar is for you.

Time will be devoted to Q&A- so please come with your questions. For the first time ever, you can also submit your questions early. Just email them to snf@schoolnutrition.org. These questions will be the first to be answered by our panelists.

Participation in this webinar is worth 1 SNA CEU.

Can’t make it to the live event? The webinar will be archived following the live presentation.
